in reply to: RPR Questions #16565

    Hi Matt,

Yes, that email address works — thank you!

thanks for explaining a bit more about the Level 2 assessment. I noted from poking around the RPR site that Murph is a specialist, but I still didn’t really understand what it was about. So that helps. I might need to hit Murph up for an appointment. There’s still something weird going on with my left side (glute?) and it’s not an injury so probably something related to all this. Bit of a treck from where I’m at but knowing I can do the “disruptions” myself at home without having to get there all the time would make it doable.

Thanks Candace. I think that’ll help me with those keystone deads next week.

I’ll def get a forward-facing vid on dead’s next time.

    Thanks!

Ok, I’ll try that — thanks Matt.

And I take it I should be doing that for floor presses too. If that’s not the case, please let me know.

Thanks Matt. I used the chart you mentioned to get some rough starting percentages for that first RPE set.

It’s also good to know that you count it as a set even if it’s just in the approximate wheelhouse.

This is definitely going to take some getting used to. 🙂

Murph — a women’s only meet sounds awesome. (Kind of obviously up my alley given all the N.E.W.S. stuff, right?) Thanks for keeping me in the loop with what the rest of the TPS women are doing. If I end up doing more meets I may try to sych up with your gals on a future meet.

Regarding RPS meets being fun: Yeah, I picked up on that when I dropped by one last year. The meets I’d been to previously (a different fed) felt a little dull by comparison

Matt — thanks for the reassurance it kind of doesn’t matter which Fed I go with at this point. Kind of what I figured. And I can’t pass one up that’s literally 2 minutes from my house.

Good to hear they are well-run. There seems to be a lot of different federations to choose from and I haven’t really dig into the differences all too much. Just eyed up one close to my house.

I forgot that men and women don’t go on the same day. Maybe I’ll swing by on the other day as well.

Thanks Candace. That video was from a different week when I didn’t have any low back issues after. However, I will still keep that in mind.

Thanks to you both. I’ll work with these for a while and check back in later.
