If you are new to this column, each month I choose a company that makes their products in the U.S.A. Buying products made in America strengthens our economy by keeping our money here and it puts Americans to work. You are creating jobs by purchasing goods made here.

There are tons of political reasons to purchase American good, but I won’t get into that here. Just know that you are putting hard working Americans to work by doing this.

Did I mention Christmas is coming? You probably already knew that. This month we are featuring a toy company in our column. Poof toys makes many of their toys in the good ole U.S.A.

The coolest part about Poof? They make the old fashioned Slinky. I used to love the Slinky when I was a kid and I bet your kids will too. Poof has a bunch of toys besides the Slinky.

What if you don’t want a Slinky? Try going to this site where you can search for toys by “country of origin”. There is a bunch of toys there that are educational and really cool. With a little effort on all of our parts we can make America strong again.
