Hey Murph! Hope the surgery recovery is going smoothly.

I signed up for the RPS meet at TPS in May, which is exactly 12 weeks from this Saturday. I’m looking to be in tip-top shape for that point and hopefully set some sexy PRs.

I wanted to ask for your advice on how to spend the next 12 weeks, from both a diet and training perspective. Diet-wise, I want to compete at 165, and weighed in this morning at 165 exactly. So obviously, I should reign in the calories a little bit to maintain.

For training, I’m just wrapping up the Big And Strong routine now, and I think I’m decently peaked – just hit some 97% singles in training. Is there a routine available via Method you would recommend I follow? Or any sort of process you’d suggest would be best?

      Thanks in advance!

We have a new meet prep block coming out for he 8 weeks before the meet. You can wait and run that, or jump on another 8 week meet prep block.

As far as food, if you are consistently 165, don’t make too many changes. Just mind your weight as you get closer and if it is creeping up, cut back on carbs/fat, NOT PROTEIN.
