Ok! So surgery went good and I can now start light/moderate exercise. No barbell yet but accessories are ok. Should I restart with an acclimation block or just do the accessories in the new block then start barbell once I’m cleared? (probably Friday)

I’m going crazy I can’t wait to come back.

I strongly suggest dragging the sled for 10-20 minutes light, doing bodyweight exercises (pushups, Fat Guy Pullups, lunges, back raise, squats etc) as LONG AS YOUR DOCTIR CLEARED YOU to exercise as tolerated.
Do this for a week or so and then check with PT on adding more in.

Rushing at this point is a terrible idea. Let your body acclimate to the training again and recover.

      Ok.

I did come in today and do some really light sled drags and deadbugs just to ease back in. I’ll keep it on that level for now.

I see the surgeon Friday and am probably going to get cleared to resume normal activity as I can tolerate so that will be good. Definitely don’t want to rush and get hurt and be out longer.

Ask him when you can lift weights as tolerated.
Explain to him what you did before the surgery.

Oh she knows! I talked to her Friday and she cleared me over the phone to start light working out but no barbell until at least after I see her Friday. But yeah she knows when I say I work out I’m a powerlifter and not just doing cardio on the treadmill lol.
