Hello! I’ve been lifting for a while and I have a fairly good dead and bench but I can’t squat!!?? I know there’s something wrong and idk what it is. Idk if I should squat less deep because I have long legs? It is extremely hard for me to squat deeper than parallel, even bodyweight. I can’t really do more than 120 and I just about reach parallel. Please help!

We are here to help! We just had a squat training day and that would of been perfect for some hands on info. Here is the link to our Training Day Seminar http://tpsmethod.com/courses/learn-to-squat/ The video is packed with information on how to unrack the bar and getting more depth, it will hopefully answer many of your questions. I don’t want to give you too much at once, I would suggest trying to apply rooting and bracing with a dumbbell to a box height that you know is at depth for you, once you hit that depth with the dumbbell than apply what you learned to the bar. If possible get video of it and get a more full body view for us. Looking forward to watching your squat grow!!!

I’d like to add, please learn to properly unrack the bar so you do not injure yourself.
It’s in the videos Candace sent.
