The 225 didn’t look too bad. You’re doing a great job generating tension in the start position and holding that tension as the bar breaks the floor. On the 235 you can see that you are trying to hold that same tension and you don’t lose you patience, but I think the weight might have been just a bit too heavy. As the bar breaks the floor you can see you lose your back position a little. You can really feel it though at the top when you have to straighten your back to lock it out. This kind of stuff will happen when you push the weights and see what you can handle. I don’t think it was too much of a breakdown but I am glad you didn’t go up in weight after that set.
Nice work. -
I was so glad I tried with the 230. It was a real hard push but it looked a lot better than I thought it would. But I knew I couldn’t go up more, it was very clear to me I’d hit the ceiling today. Thanks for the help as usual Matt.

Nice job!! You are handling that weight very well. Just like Matt said you lose your position a but, but great job for being patient and fighting for it. Lets work on getting you a bit more lat engagement and that might help. If you make it to the Method for Muscles on Tuesday I can give you a few tips/warm-ups to do.
