Fro a high rep set they look pretty good.
      Two small things:

      1. Knees are a little soft at lockout
      2. I’d like to see a little less hypertension of the lower back at lockout.

      Easy fix for both.
Think about using your legs more and your back less.
Stand straight up and lock your knees & hips through at the top.

Your back will take care of itself if you get what I mean.

Let me, know if I need to explain more.

Great work!! Murph nailed it on this one, adjust both things and your ass with also thank you 🙂 What might also help finishing more in your glutes is just slightly turning your toes out.
      Keep being awesome!

Thanks guys. I’ve been working with these suggesting but one thing I’ve been struggling with is *how* to use my legs (and glutes) more and back less. Actually doing it has been hard for me for some reason.

If you have any specific cue suggestions to help with that other than “push the floor away” (the one I’ve heard most) I’d love to hear them in case one of them clicks better for me. Thanks

      Hi G,

I always tell people to stand up tall.
      Straighten the legs.
That seems to work for most.

Let me know if that helps.

IF not, I’ll come up with another one for you.

I think patience off the ground is the most important part of the lift. I had the same issue till one day it clicked for me that its got to come from the feet. Be extra intentional about how you start the lift, Make sure your slack is out/back is set, your brace is a full 360 pressure, then make sure your root is running up the chain, meaning you feel the pressure from your feet all the way into your glutes. Don’t just push the floor away rip it apart, to get proper/maximal leg drive all the muscles must be rigid, this comes from the feet. I hope this helps.

Thanks to you both. I’ll work with these for a while and check back in later.
