      Hi Murph!

I’m about 9 weeks out from the RPS meet in May at TPS, looking to officially start prep next week and want to take stock of where I’m at technique-wise. I’d like to get within spitting distance of a 1200lb total (currently at 1100, so I know that’s ambitious) at 165. Are there any glaring form issues you notice, or muscle groups that could probably use more love?

Squat – 295×3 @ 6-7ish: https://www.instagram.com/p/CpUzHh_g1Wa/ These felt TERRIBLE. My ankles have been bothering me for the past few weeks from running and I think that messed up my root. But they look like they’re moving well.

      Bench – 215×4 @ 9: https://www.instagram.com/p/CpfFKV2gKA8/ Should I be pausing these?

Deadlift – 365×5 @ 6/7: https://www.instagram.com/p/CpfFfm0g0Nr/ Planning to pull on a stiff bar until I’m about 3 weeks out. These felt and looked pretty decent, imo

9 weeks out we aren’t changing anything.
But, there isn’t much to change.

      Squats look good.
      Pulls look good.

Bench-good but try and keep your hips higher and keep the tension in your lower body more consistent.

You’ve made a lot of excellent progress over the past year and I think that 1200 is right there buddy!
