I restarted lifting today with a squat/bench combo day. I kept it light and just tried to work on moving with purpose and remembering my setups. I’m also still experimenting with different foot positions in bench but i was really getting into seeing how far back I can get my feet and I kinda want to start that again. Anyway the squats I just threw some microbands on to keep it interesting and just give my legs some extra stimulus after a period of lower activity. My leg and back could have probably been better on the bench but I had a little fatigue after the squats so that probably contributed to the flaws there. Anyways would welcome your feedback. Thanks!

Neither one look bad at all especially considering time off.

Squats: Drive your back into the bar harder.

Bench: You know what I’m going to say.

If you don’t, let me know.

Uhhhh. I’m going to say upper back tightness. I have been trying to do more back accessories, definitely see the weakness there and trying to target it. I think it’s part of why my back isn’t great on squat too.

Glad to hear it’s not a total dumpster fire. Thanks.
