I wanted to pass along huge snaps to the TPS team for the Training for Life programming. I just got back from a trip to CO where I hiked Pikes Peak, in addition to tackling the Manitou Incline (2768 steps, ~1 mile long, 2000ft elevation gain). Typically when preparing for my 14er trips (this was my 6th), I do a lot of weighted hill repeats. This trip, for whatever reason, I kept it to my usual TPS programming and I think this was the best I’ve felt during any of these trips! My legs felt 100% FINE the entire trip – super strong, great endurance. Lots of prowler work in the weeks preceding I believe was the icing on the training cake…

This truly is Training For Life!!!!!

Michelle, that is awesome. The stronger you are the easier every step becomes. Next thing you know it you are cruising up those tedious vertical stretches.
Glad to hear you had a blast out there.
