Hi all. I’ve been lifting for a bit. Started with Olympic weightlifting about 8 years ago, competed a bunch, then decided to transition to powerlifting. I loved weightlifting, but as I got older it was harder to jump and throw weight over my head gracefully.
I’ve competed in 4 full powerlifting meets (2 raw modern and 2 single ply) and some push-pulls. I moved into gear after tearing my right hip labrum. Now my goal is to learn multiply. I’m hopeful that I’ll continue to learn from the good folks at TPS through this resource and at seminars and on training days. I’ve seen TPS athletes and coaches at meets over the years and have been impressed on a number of fronts. I have someone working with me, but we are both learning. There is a ton on information here and I’m eager to start.
Raw 305/190/395
Single ply 375/230/425
Multiply some work in shirt, but no real numbers yet
Next meet: Jamie’s meet, RPS, 9/7Thank you!

Hi Sara,
Welcome aboard.
Thanks for the good words about the team.
Are you following our programming or just using the site as a resource for the forum and videos?

I am definitely using the site to learn as much as I can (resources/videos/forums) and I am interested in seeing a meet prep program. I had trouble finding it when I first looked, but in all honesty didn’t look too hard.
Thanks for the welcome!
