      Hi,
I’m using the Training for Life program and was curious about the format and the order of the exercises. For example in Day 1 there are 4 parts to the workout. The first part just says squat 6×2 RPE8. Does this mean I do six sets of 2 squats before moving on to the second part of the workout? How much rest between sets? Then part 2 is split squats and pushups, would this mean that after I finish the squat I alternate between the split squats and the push-ups? One set of each until I’ve done 4 rounds of both exercises?

      Thanks!

      Great question Chrissy,

      Exercises are listed in sections.
      EG:
      1. Squats 6 x2
      2. Split Squats + Pushups
      Etc

      This is done as follows:
Do each section as it is.
      Squats, 6 sets, 2 reps.
On the next one, when more than one exercise is listed, do them in order. EG: Split squats then pushups, then rest. Complete all sets.
      Move to next section.
For rest, we like to see as much as you need on the main exercise, usually about 2 minutes is good, but you may need more.

On the others, do all exercises in the sequence, and then rest. Again, unless otherwise directed, with as much rest as needed. Don’t take super long rest periods. About 1-3 minutes max.
