      Hello!

I’ve been lifting for about 17 years. Been a competitive raw powerlifter for about 4. My last total was 1422 @198 via 501/369/551 but shortly after about 8 weeks of training I hit 535/400/600. Coming off of a low back injury so the squats and deads have been fairly light for now but Im ready to start ramping up since I went ahead and signed up for a meet on July 27th (approx. 24 weeks from now). I consider myself fairly advanced in my training but am game to start wherever.

Here is the question: what block should I start in at 24 weeks out?

Extra: Goals are 601/424/661 at 198 at the meet

Per our dm discussion last night, look at your calendar and time the meet peak week out in weeks.

Begin at the proper week in the training block you chose.

I know we discussed, I believe 5a and that should be fine a long as the weeks coincide with the peak.

You can also use a beginner meet prep block even though you are more advanced.

The beginner blocks may help you acclimate to our volume.

      Hope this explains it.

Dont forget to upload training videos!
