I am excited about joining the TPS Method after hearing Coach Murphy on Dave Tate’s TableTalk (not the pies) podcast. I started training in a powerlifting style about two years ago following a template from WestSide and consuming as much Westside content as I could find.

I am rapidly approaching 59 years on earth and am working my way back from abdominal and knee surgeries in December and January. I am completing the powerlifting acclimation block this week and have watched all of the recommended TPS videos along with the Laura Phelps seminar.

I have never competed in a meet and am not sure I ever will. I joined TPS Method because I liked what I heard from Coach Murphy on the podcast and after a quick trial of a few hours reviewing content I thought this was a great place to be.

One question, I train at home and have everything short of a GHR. Would it be possible to make a trip up to Malden at some point this summer to do a live form check on the big three lifts? I would find this far more useful than video.

      Take care. ScottK

      Scott,

      Glad to have you aboard.

You are welcome to come by TPS any time you like.
Let me know a day or so ahead of me and I’ll let you know when I’m available.

      Two things:
      1. If you don’t have a GHR, can you rig up a Nordic Leg curl as a replacement?

      2. You may want to Box Squat in the knee rehab phase. Less shear on the patella.

Post those training videos in the Forum.

Thank you Murph. Two great recommendations which I’ll incorporate this week.
