Got a problem here that I had not noticed because I was not working at high weight.

I’m not staying rigid before the pull and bending my back. It’s robbing me off power off the floor at weights that are totally doable. Estimated max is 508 and this is only 365 (71.8%) by 5, 405 (79.7%) fail and 375 (73.8%) by 1.

I am unsure how to fix this.

      Brian,

      I see a few things.

First, I am not a fan of rolling the bar into your shins to start the pull.
Second, your feet are not very active.

Third, you are hyperextending at lockout.

      All easy to fix.

      Lower the weight.

Next, watch the deadlift course again along with the rooting video.

Focus on rooting hard on each rep before you pull, especially on warmups.

Once that is good, focus on maintaining the root while making your arms long.

I highly suggest doing a hard reset on each rep.

This means you will let go of the bar after each rep and go through your set up for every rep.

      Let’s see how that goes.
