      Deadlift Video Link

This is my first try uploading a video/videos. Hopefully it works. Anyways, hoping for some pointers for my conventional form. It feels really solid but I’m always looking for ways to improve!

I think I messed up the upload on my first post. Hopefully this is the right way.

      Welcome aboard.

I see two things we can work on right away.

      It looks pretty good overall.

      The first thing:
      Keep your neck neutral.
      This video:

Discusses the neck and even though it is a Good Morning in the video, it still applies to the deadlift.

And if you watch the Deadlift course we cover it int here as well.

      Second item:

You are hyper extending your lower back a little at lockout.

Use more legs, less lower back.

The easiest way to remember this is to just stand up straight.
No need to drive the lower back hard and push the hips too far forward.

      Keep up the good work.

Thank you! I’ll definitely focus on those two points during my next deadlift session.
