I have been thinking of signing up for my first meet soon. I found three possible dates for USAPL meets. The first one is coming up in a few weeks on Sept 26th (USAPL Lowell Open). Otherwise, I could sign up for a meet on Oct 10th (USAPL Rhode Island Fall Classic) or Oct 30-31 (USAPL Odyssey Barbell Club Classic). I maxed out roughly two months ago for Beginner Powerlifting Program Block 2A, and I am finishing up Block 3A this week. I wanted to ask for advice on programming and if so, which meet would work best.

I also ran into the same website bug that I did a while back, where I cannot progress through the Beginner Powerlifting 2 Program. I don’t see buttons to mark the weeks I completed, and I see a message to go back and complete the previous block.

      Thanks!

      Claudio,

I forwarded this post to Deb for customer service on your tech issue.
As far as picking a meet, I suggest one where you have at LEAST 10 weeks to prep for it.
The one on Oct. 31 gives you about 8 weeks.
That may be a better choice.

With a meet thisclose and not truly enough time for a full meet prep, I suggest using again and adjusting your % off new maxes set.
Mark off your calendar according to the meet date in the program and begin the correct number of weeks away.
      EG:
If the meet is 8 weeks away, start the program over at Block 4A Week 1 as this is 8 weeks out.
      Get it?
