      Hello TPS fam,

I’ve been incorporating stones at the end of my deadlift sessions for some cardio and general strength and am falling in love with them. I’d like to have a dedicated day to stone lifting and some other strongman movements, but not sure how to incorporate them into the program.

Currently am on Block 1A Week 2 of the Beginner Powerlifting 1 program after completing the acclimation program.

      Good question.

I WOULD NOT ADD THIS IN DURING A MEET PREP block.
But in the offseason it is fine. And probably a good idea.

Adding them on a GPP/Conditioning day is great.
Don’t max out, but do reps with lighter stones and get the heart rate up a bit.

Stones to shoulder, stones to box, up and downs, mix it up.
You can work for time (eg: sets of AMAP in 30 seconds, 60 etc) or a pre determined amount of sets and reps.

Be sure and watch the Stones course on the site.
