Hey guys, I box squatted this morning and want to know where I went wrong. It was my first time doing them as a working set. I also don’t know what that bar weighs. I had to go down on the weight for the last 2 sets, let me know what you think. These were supposed to be an RPE 7.

      They look pretty good.

Ideally you want a vertical shin or even slightly negative.

      Overall though not bad.

The SSB is about 70 pounds, not sure 100% on weight.

IT looks, at least from this angle like the bar might be upside down in the rack.

How can I improve the shin angle, hip hinge back more? I struggle with that in regular squats too sometimes.

Next time you’re in I can spend a few minutes with you. You want to control the movement on the way down, so slow it down just a bit, and an inch from the box push the hips back an inch more than you think you should. This should help.
Also this is Candace lol, I didn’t realize I was signed in as Matt.
