For the bands using doubled mini’s (what you have here) is fine. When in doubt reference the band usage sheets.
For the presses you need to do more of the sets like the last set. As you press up and get to the “easy” part you loosen your back. Whenever you do anything technically wrong with bands they will punish you. On the first two sets your back got loose at the lockout the bands were still coming on and you grinded them out. The last set your back was locked in and boom the weights locked out much easier.

thanks Matt. there’s bands next week so I’ll work on it then. So did I make things harder on myself doubling the minis? I’m asking because the percentage was way off. it was supposed to be 270

Nice job!! I would suggest moving the bands to the fourth band peg, this way the band is a straight path from where your bar path is. You have them on the second peg, so the bands are pulling back towards your head as you are lifting, this can make things a bit more difficult. I would also suggest not sinking and heaving, keep tension the whole time at your chest so you are loading the weight into your back, not loosing it by sinking. Keep up the hard work!

I really don’t mean to sink in. I’ve been trying to be more conscious of it. I will work on it and change the band position next week
