So the longer I’ve been benching, I feel like the further back I’ve moved my feet. I usually like to use the white bench with the fat pad, but it has a weird crossbar that limits how far back I can move my feet. So today I tried a different bench. How does it look with the feet a little further back? It felt pretty decent for me.

      It looks very good.
As always, being tighter through the upper back is something to work on, but you are improving quite a bit.

On the bench, we teach feet forward to beginners as it is much easier to learn and focus on the upper back instead of other things.
Benching with your feet tucked back is superior in some ways and not in others.

For a competitive lift, it is usually a better choice.

You’ll find that it can beat you up a little more so I’d use both.
Feet forward in building phases and slowly transition back to tucked as you approach a comp.

Or you can just pick one and run it.
      Whatever works best for you.
