      Happy Monday TPS,

Here are the top sets from the past week. All are programmed at RPE 8 and I’m pretty sure I managed to get that RPE?

Squat – 330×2: https://www.instagram.com/tv/CeVvjurl27Z/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link I think I made some improvements on putting my back into the bar – but the most impactful cue seems to be to keep my head up instead. These felt great and looked very pretty, in my opinion

Bench – 215×2: https://www.instagram.com/tv/CeYd4QIFUHe/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Continuing to work on the setup and getting tighter before getting the bar out. Leg drive felt good!

Deadlift – 385×2: https://www.instagram.com/tv/CedeJralOuL/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Fixex the starting position issue I had last week, but need to work on hip hinging more

Overall, improving, but I’m definitely starting to feel fatigue set in. Sleep isn’t bad, but diet-wise, what’s best for these programs? My weight isn’t really changing at the moment (been about 160 since starting the Beginner Acclimation block), with maybe at a tiny deficit overall.

      Squats-Looking better.
Whatever cue works for you is the one to use. I use HEAD BACK sometimes, but remember, the cue really means use your back.

Bench-Also looking better. Keep working on getting the hips to the highest point you can before handoff and keeping them up.

Deadlift-also, huge improvement. Things are coming along nicely.

Fatigue is normal in an Acclimation block. That is the purpose. To acclimate you to the program.
Keep an eye on it and keep communicating.
If we need to I can adjust some of the volume.

Thank you Murph – I’ll try and prioritize recovery and see if I can adapt a little faster
