After reading through the powerlifting programs i just had a few questions.

1 – I do not have a sled or prowler, when the program calls for these what would you suggest as a substitute?

2 – I do not have chains, would bands work as a substitute for these days?

3 – On days where chains are called for, is the percentage straight weight only?

4 – Through the years I have learned I recover better when I do my squat supplemental lifts on deadlift day and vice versa. I noticed some blocks in the program are set up this way and others aren’t. Will it have a negative effect on the program if I do this in every block?

      Thanks

If you don’t have a sled or prowler, there really is not an accurate substitute.
If it is being used for GPP you can do something that gets your heart rate up steadily.
If it is used for strength work, I would rather make a suggestion based off of the week/block oyu are in.

Bands and chains are both accommodating resistance, but they work differently.
Many times, most, you will see a few weeks of chains and then bands.
If this is the case, I’d rather see you go without the chain instead of subbing a band.
If it is not the case, use a band.

      Yes

When people first start using our blocks, most need to acclimate to the volume.
That’s why we have the acclimation block.

I suggest starting there and running the program as written.
WE have had tremendous success with this style of programming, and the majority of people acclimate to it and recover well from it.

The only way to see if this works for you is to try it.

I always suggest to run the program as written unless it is 100% impossible.

Give it a try and if it is not working, let me know and we can make suggestions.

I hope this answers your questions.

Awesome response Murph, thanks for all the detail.

I will run the program as written and sub belt squat walks or loaded carries for the GPP work.

Love the content you guys put out, thanks man.
