I haven’t gotten to film a lot of bench since we’ve been back, but Mike was nice enough to film my RPE 10 with chains to a 2 board today. He and I both think my back could have been tighter but I was curious if anything else pops up for you guys. I’m trying to get less nervous under more weight and today was a good day for that at least.

      It’s the usual stuff.
But, if you pull out some older videos of you benching and then compare to this, you will see a WORLD of difference.

This does not look like the same person I saw a while ago.
You are making consistent and steady progress and that is what this is all about.

      Keep working on improving!

      Things to work on:

      Patience
      Speed
      Technique

      In that order.

Hold the bar at liftoff for a second before you begin and make sure everything is right.
      Lower it with confidence.
      Press it explosively.
Hold your lockout as if waiting for a RACK command.

Doing all of this will improve everything!

      You are doing very well!
