      Hello,

I have a couple programming questions.

Day 1 is a box squat with a band. Does this mean the band is hooked at the bottom of rack and resisting on the ascent of the squat?

Similar question for Day 2 bench with mini band. Looking through the forum it looks like the band should be hooked at the bottom of the rack and resisting the press up. Just wanted to confirm this is the case.

Last question, I don’t always have the access to chains. Is bands an okay substitute or would you prefer something else to add resistance since they work in different ways?

      Thanks!

      Keith,

Watch this video for instructions on how to set them up.

For squats, the band goes over the bar and around the rack.
You need tension at the bottom of the squat, the band should not be completely unloaded.
      Same for the bench.

      Me again.
Realized that I sent the wrong video!

We don’t have one up yet for setting up bands.

Loop the band around the bench/rack or a pair of heavy dumbells and then pull it over the bar.
Be sure that there is tenio0n on the band at the bottom of the squat or bench.
