Hey guys, today called for low box squats. I started with 125 but ended up going to 135 to see how it went but I think I had some form breakdown there. Any advice on these is appreciated, also, how do you determine how low the box should be for low box squats? Thanks.

First things first let’s lower the box maybe a hole or two lower than it is there in these sets especially if it is a low box squat.
Looking at the squat itself you had some good reps towards the end of the set with 135. the sets with 125 you are rocking back too much once you sit on the box. The first couple reps of 135 your knees are coming too far forward.
So lower the box, sit back further initially, and don’t rock back.

Great job! I’m not going to say much because Matt gave you some great things to focus on. Like he said, don’t rock back, keep your upper body in the same place all the way through the lift. I love your attention to detail!.
