Hi, I’m Steve, and I live in Charlestown. I’m really from the North Shore – Beverly, Middleton. I joined TPS in March 2017, and I never lifted a weight in my life before then. The coaching at TPS is key, and it has kept me coming back. I’m one of the 5:30 AM regulars in Method on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I’ve gotten better at doing the extra TPS work-outs, and the online program is motivator to keep that up. The other members are great and have a good sense of humor. I keep asking one TPS coach in particular to give me the “old guy discount” on reps, but he keeps telling me that I’m a “fucking sandbagger”. Ha! He’s right. Unlike so many places out there, there’s just no bullshit at TPS, and it’s refreshing. My wife Alicia knocks it out of the park with cancer patient advocacy. I have two kids. My daughter Elizabeth is a junior at Penn State, and my son Bill, unfortunately, has schizophrenia and lives in a psychiatric hospital. But it made Bill’s year when I showed him a video of the old man doing tire flips on the turph at TPS. I hadn’t heard him that excited in a long time – he still talks about it. TPS has been enormously positive, and I’m glad to be here.
